No more worrying about the possibility of something catching on fire. Miss Alice will dress and prepare your candles using Augustine’s root oils and herbal powders. All candles are blessed and prayed over by the Rev. Frank Papa Doc before set up. A parchment seal with your petition written on it, along with any names you may want included, is placed under the candle. Burning your candles on one of Augustine’s spiritual altars increases the strength of the candle because each altar at Augustine’s is dedicated to a specific spirit, saint and purpose. Each altar is consecrated and offerings of incense, tobacco, herbs and liquor are presented each day. The daily burning of incense and recital of prayers helps draw down the spirits and saints to the altar, increasing the chances of having your petition answered. When ordering send us the type of candle you desire, who the candle is for and your petition. If you are unsure of the type of candle needed than simply tell us about your situation and we will choose a candle that best suits your particular problem, concern or condition.

Burning Prayer Candles by the month provides our customers worry free, continuous long term candle burning. If you are a regular candle burner, burning your Prayer Candles by the month or year is a good way to save money. During the course of one month 6 candles are burned. That's a savings of $20.00 when you order a Full Month of Candle Burning Service at just $40.00! Use our monthly candle burning service to save money, for difficult cases and when you do not have time to order on a weekly basis.
Every spiritual altar at Augustine’s is dedicated to a specific spirit, saint and purpose. Each altar is adorned with candles, incense, holy pictures, statues, offerings, liquor, herbs, talismans and a variety of religious icons and hoodoo artifacts. Each spiritual altar is blessed daily and consecrated weekly using holy oils and incense. When you order our In Store Candle Burning Service your glass prayer candle is first prepared with oils and herbal powders, then blessed and prayed over. Once that is done your candle is set on the appropriate altar and a written request, known as your petition, is placed under the candle.
